2009 turned on!!!

After prolonged waiting, IYA 2009 has turned on all over the world, astronomers world widely have started their activities to publicize the lovely science of astronomy, And to do their utmost to serve this ancient science ,I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Iraqi astronomers for this year and I look for a lot from them sooner for making IYA 2009 a success in Iraq, as a starting point I have put a point of contact in a province or region , you can check out the new list of contacts and see who is the nearest coordinator to you or if you think that you are away from these regions just drop me an e-mail (rojgartr3@gmail.com).

The activities will be organized and coordinated between points of contacts and SPOC of Iraq through either e-mails or phone calls, the planned activities will be announced sooner by e-mails, so please be aware about your e-mails and try to check out your mail box in short periodic times, if your e-mail is out of the list just drop me an e-mail to add your ID to the list.
